WHY WE GIVE: AARON AND LENICE CATTLEY

Aaron and Lenice Cattley with their son Greyson ’33

How has the Heritage Hall Lower School impacted your family?

Our son Greyson ’33 has had such a wonderful learning experience from all of the departments in the Lower School. He also has FUN. The entire staff is truly family to him. They challenge and support him and work with us to bring the best out of him. I can’t express enough what a rewarding experience it has been to work with the LS team.

What do you hope the new Lower School campaign will do to help Heritage Hall?

The long-term plan will have tremendous benefits to our community and the growth of our school, beginning with the new gym. The gym will bridge a safety gap for our students by providing critical shelter in a physical threat but will also provide so many more options to engage not only the students but the parents in a much larger capacity. We need more space for special events like Charger Shine and Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day.

Did the all-school storm shelter influence your desire to support the LS campaign?

Yes, safety is always a priority, but the entire long-term expansion plan inspired us to support the LS campaign. It is our pleasure to support a campaign that will be a tremendous benefit for many years and hopefully for many future generations.

What inspired you to give to the LS campaign?

The Heritage Hall Lower School staff, administration, and teachers go above and beyond to help the students build a foundation to reach their full potential. We want to see that continued support for generations; we firmly believe in the mantra of “pay if forward.”

Why is it important to you to make a lead gift to our LS campaign?

With the Safer Schools, Stronger Community campaign, we immediately saw the benefit to the entire campus security as well as enriching the student experience with the future facilities. We were more than happy to provide a lead gift that helps provide this support to the HH team and improve our students’ well-being.
