Parents of Ruby McNeill ’33, Lily Mingee, Luke Mingee, Lane Mingee, and Wilder Mingee
What inspired you to give to the Lower School Campaign?
As a family we want our legacy to be one of giving, and we want to inspire more people and future generations to value the effect of what a financial contribution can do for the School.
Why is it important to you to make a lead gift to our Lower School Campaign?
Sometimes all it takes is one person to take charge, and others will follow. We also want our children to understand how important it is to be involved in education.
How has the Heritage Hall Lower School impacted your family?
We have seen Ruby blossom and grow as a student and leader since she has attended Heritage Hall. She feels so confident, and she genuinely loves going to school.
What do you hope the new Lower School campaign will do to help Heritage Hall?
We hope that it will give the opportunity for more families in the community to attend Heritage Hall and to allow a state-of-the-art facility that allows kids to be kids.
Did the all-school storm shelter influence your desire to support the LS campaign?
Yes, it did; safety is the number one priority for our children. If there were ever a weather situation that wouldn’t allow us to get Ruby, we would want to know that she is safe and not have another situation like the historic May 3 tornadoes.
